Pineapples are mathematical objects that occur in nature. Their growth is dictated by the fibonacci sequence in multiple ways. Fibonacci numbers dictate the number of spirals that appear on the skin of the fruit.

A Fibonacci spiral is a series of connected quarter-circles drawn inside an array of squares with Fibonacci numbers for dimensions. The squares fit perfectly together because of the nature of the sequence, where the next number is equal to the sum of the two before it.

The Spanish called pineapples the 'Pine of the Indies' because they were both hard and spiky. The skin is too rough to eat, so most people eat the flesh of a pineapple, or the inside, after removing the skin. ... This is called a crown, and it is not for eating.

Because every part of the pineapple makes it a pineapple, specially its texture, skin and scales. I used these elements to design my bottle. My bottle is almost a direct interpretation of Pineapple's physical form with some additional colorplay.

The crown/leaves of the Pineapple inspired the wavy cap of the bottle.
